Project Proposal

My inquiry project for my last year of university on the path to getting my B. Ed. I decided to focus on parents and the workshop model.

• In regards to the Workshop Model, how can we inform, involve, and engage parents into being part of the learning process their child is participating in? 

After watching TEDtalks, in particular, the talk by Ken Robinson that focuses on how schools kill creativity (link opens in new window), I became inspired to look into how we can nurture creativity in students alongside the "core" subjects of education.

• How can we encourage the creativity and imagination students bring to school and strengthen their knowledge and use of both as they travel through their educational journey?
